Topic: Why some images become iconic by – speaker Gandee Vasan

Gandee Vasan is a British Artist whose work was exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery in London, where he was a finalist in the BP Portrait Painting Awards and the Taylor Wessing Portrait Awards. At the age of 23, he was awarded by the Royal Society of Portrait Painters for creating the most outstanding work by a young artist. He has a body of work with Getty Images which is licensed around the world. His photographic images have graced the covers of TIME magazine, Le Monde, and other major publications.

Selected artists will share their personal stories and their journeys as artists and how they developed their artistic style and present their works for sale by auction. We have carefully selected a small group of talented artists who have caught our attention amongst whom some have won prestigious art awards such as Abstract Painting Award at London’s Roundhouse, finalists in BP Portrait Painting Awards, Taylor Wessing Awards, exhibiting artists at prestigious ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Gallery and at the National Portrait Gallery. The selected works for sale by auction span across various styles, themes and mediums.
