Palomo Miguelena
Biography
Palomo is an artist based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He was educated in University of Barcelona with a degree in Fine Arts and later remained in the University as a Fine Art professor. Palomo has always maintained that an artist is a product of their time, their training, and, above all, their personality. His work has evolved with the time, but always keeping in mind the compositional order and a very solid structure. He began his career as a figurative artist but in recent times has introduced new elements, such as collage, to open up new avenues of representation. His use of color palette has always reflected his inner state, with a tendency to experiment in the grayscale.
Palomo has featured in many major exhibitions and has won many awards such as Museo de Ciudad, Havana, Cuba, Caixa de Catalunya Foundation Exhibition, “The Tears of Color” Esther Montoriol Gallery Show, Jordi Barnadas Gallery Show, Manel Majoral Gallery Show, he is a selected artist to feature in F.C.Barcelona Art Biennial Exhibition.

Palomo’s works are widely collected and his prestigious patrons include Banc de Sabadell Collection and his portrait of Spanish Queen titled “Letizia’s Bride” is owned and held at the Spanish Royal Palace.
