Maureen Grayson

Maureen is a UK artist based in Hampstead, London.

 

Specialising in mixed media abstraction, her dynamic and deeply evocative paintings have earned her a string of successes over the years.

 

Having won the ‘Picture the Heath’ prize at the 2024 Hampstead Art Fair, she went on to win the Women in Art Prize Abstract Painting Award at London’s Roundhouse.

 

In November 2024, she had 2 of her landscapes selected for the prestigious ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries, London.

 

Recent exhibitions include the Women In Art Prize Abstract Prizewinners show at the Hampstead School of Art Gallery and a group exhibition, ‘Refraction’ , at 54 The Gallery, Shepherd Market, Mayfair. 

 

In 2025, she won ‘Picture the Heath’ prize at the 2025 Hampstead Art Fair for the second time in a row. 

 

The Interplay between natural phenomena and the ever evolving landscape continue to be the driving force behind Maureen’s paintings. Living just minutes away from Hampstead Heath, the inspiration remains constant.
